“I was only being honest, not my fault you can’t take a little critic. Now, is that something that really makes you happy?” She said in disbelief. “I doubt it’s very fulfilling in the end, is it?” Glinda looked at her own dress in confusion. “There is nothing wrong with my dress, it’s beautiful. Nuh uh, you show way more cleavage than I do. Yours practically fall out, not very appropriate for a Queen.” She shook her head.
“Then I shall call you Regina.” Glinda giggled. “That is actually very cute, I like it.”
“Wᴇʟʟ…ᴋᴇᴇᴘ ʏᴏᴜʀ ʜᴏɴᴇsᴛʏ ᴛᴏ ʏᴏᴜʀsᴇʟғ…” She scoffed, but inside she took note of that Glinda had to say. Did she really show too much cleavage? Looking down towards her chest she made a slight face. She liked her outfits…But one thing she said made Regina look back into her eyes “Hᴀᴘᴘɪɴᴇss ᴡɪʟʟ ɴᴇᴠᴇʀ ᴇxɪsᴛ ғᴏʀ ᴍᴇ…"
”I sʜᴏᴜʟᴅ sᴀʏ ɪᴛ ᴡɪʟʟ ɴᴇᴠᴇʀ ᴇxɪsᴛ ғᴏʀ ᴘᴇᴏᴘʟᴇ ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴍᴇ…I ᴍᴀᴋᴇ ᴍʏ ʜᴀᴘᴘɪɴᴇss ʙʏ ʀᴜɪɴɪɴɢ ᴏᴛʜᴇʀs.“ She sneered just at the thought of others being happy. ”Iᴛ·s ʜᴏᴡ ɪᴛ ᴀʟᴡᴀʏs ʜᴀs ᴛᴏ ʙᴇ.“
“Can I be honest? Well I always am, it’s not in my nature to lie. You are in fact a very good looking woman, but you.. well you look very strict. You would be more beautiful if you would smile.. and.. those dresses, the low cut. It’s sexy, but. slightly tacky. Maybe you should.. cover up a bit.”
“I’m from Oz. The name is Glinda Upland, also known as the Good Witch of the North.. or simply Good Witch. No, I don’t know who you are, care to enlighten me?”
She listened to the woman a moment, her face giving holding nothing back. Her features darkened as she spoke about her not smiling enough, then she scoffed when she spoke about her sense of fashion. “Hᴏᴡ ᴅᴀʀᴇ ʏᴏᴜ﹖ I ᴅᴏ sᴍɪʟᴇ…ᴡʜᴇɴ I ᴅᴇsᴛʀᴏʏ sᴏᴍᴇᴏɴᴇ…ᴀɴᴅ ᴛᴀʟᴋ ᴀʙᴏᴜᴛ ᴅʀᴇssᴇs…ʏᴏᴜʀs ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴍɪɴᴇ ᴏɴʟʏ ᴛʜᴀᴛ ʜᴏʀʀɪғɪᴄ ʟɪɢʜᴛ ᴄᴏʟᴏʀ.” She leaned in. “Wᴇ sʜᴏᴡ ᴛʜᴇ sᴀᴍᴇ ᴛʜɪɴɢ…” She smirked quirking up an eyebrow.
“So when is it the time and place? Because with you it never seems to be, not even at home when no one is around” Raven asked knowing it was going to be put off for another week again.
“Rᴀᴠᴇɴ….ʏᴏᴜ ɴᴇᴇᴅ ᴛᴏ ᴜɴᴅᴇʀsᴛᴀɴᴅ ᴛʜɪɴɢs ᴊᴜsᴛ ᴅᴏɴ·ᴛ ʜᴀᴘᴘᴇɴ ɪɴ ᴀ ʙʟɪɴᴋ ᴏғ ᴀɴ ᴇʏᴇ ʙᴇᴄᴀᴜsᴇ ʏᴏᴜ ᴡᴀɴᴛ ᴛʜᴇᴍ ᴛᴏ.” She shook her head at her daughter. “Bᴜᴛ ғɪɴᴇ….ʟᴇᴛ·s ᴛᴀʟᴋ ɴᴏᴡ…I·ᴍ ᴀʟʟ ᴇᴀʀs ғᴏʀ ʏᴏᴜ”
Robin’s eyes adverted from Regina before flicking back after a silent minute. “I do believe you Regina but you can’t deny that things don’t look too good at the moment.”
Robin’s eyes dropped from her face to the floor, he didn’t know what to say and for a moment he was silent. ” I know better then what they do.” He told her as his eyes raised back to her face. “They’ll see the change in you Regina, they’ll have to.” The archer concluded before giving her a brief hopeful smile while his hand moved to gently touch her cheek, offering some sort of comfort as he felt his words had done nothing.
“Jᴜsᴛ ᴡʜᴀᴛ ɪғ ᴛʜᴇʏ ᴅᴏɴ·ᴛ﹖ I ᴡᴀɴᴛ ᴛʜᴇᴍ ᴛᴏ ᴋɴᴏᴡ ᴛʜᴀᴛ I ʜᴀᴠᴇ ᴄʜᴀɴɢᴇᴅ ғᴏʀ ɢᴏᴏᴅ…ᴛʜᴀᴛ I ᴡᴀɴᴛ ᴛᴏ ʜᴇʟᴘ ᴛʜᴇᴍ ᴀʟʟ.” She kept her eyes on his a moment and took in a breath. “I ᴊᴜsᴛ ᴡᴀɴᴛ ᴛᴏ ᴋɴᴏᴡ ᴡʜᴀᴛ ɪᴛ ᴡɪʟʟ ᴛᴀᴋᴇ…ᴡʜᴀᴛ ᴍᴏʀᴇ ᴅᴏ I ʜᴀᴠᴇ ᴛᴏ ᴅᴏ.” She gave him a slight smile to let him know that he did calm her down quite a bit. “I·ᴍ ᴊᴜsᴛ ᴀᴛ ᴀ ʙʟᴀɴᴋ ʜᴇʀᴇ Rᴏʙɪɴ…”
“I want you to be happy mother.. But I’m not ready to let anyone into our family, not yet…” She whispered scared to lose her mother to a man they barely knew. “I love you mama, and father so much, May I met Robin before I judge him to much?”
“Yᴏᴜ ᴋɴᴏᴡ ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴅᴇᴄɪsɪᴏɴ﹐ ᴀɴᴅ ᴏᴘɪɴɪᴏɴ ᴍᴇᴀɴs ᴛʜᴇ ᴡᴏʀʟᴅ ᴛᴏ ᴍᴇ.
